A+Technical Description
The EXCETEK V400G Plus is a precision wire-cut electrical discharge machine (EDM) engineered for ultra-precise machining applications. This compact entry-level model features a rigid cast iron structure with a U and V truss design, providing exceptional stability and rigidity optimized through FEA analysis. The machine accommodates workpieces up to 750 x 550 x 215 mm with a maximum payload of 500 kg on its stainless steel worktable (HRC 50° hardness). The CNC-controlled five-axis system delivers precise X/Y axis travel of 400 x 300 mm (approximately 29.53 x 19.69 inches), U/V axis travel of 80 x 80 mm, and Z-axis travel of 220 mm submerged height (approximately 10.04 inches). It accommodates wire diameters from 0.15 to 0.3 mm and achieves a maximum taper angle of ±22° per 80 mm with wide diamond guides and nozzles, enabling complex geometries and angled cuts. The machine utilizes five AC servo motors for smooth, accurate motion control. Featuring an intelligent power management system and a 650-liter water tank capacity, the V400G Plus optimizes operational efficiency while reducing maintenance costs. The user-friendly Windows-based control system with a 15-inch TFT screen simplifies programming, supporting both online and offline ISO programming. Standard accessories include ion exchange resin, diamond guides, flushing nozzles, and brass wire, while optional upgrades include clamping beams, linear scales, and remote monitoring systems. This versatile machine delivers cutting speeds up to 250 mm²/min with reliable precision for diverse industrial applications.
