Technical Description

The EXCETEK V650 Wire EDM Machine is a high-precision CNC-controlled electric discharge wire-cut machine designed for ultra-accurate machining of complex metal parts. Featuring a robust cast iron structure, the machine ensures exceptional rigidity and stability for consistent accuracy and reliability. The travel distances are 39.37 inches (1000 mm) on the X-axis, 27.56 inches (700 mm) on the Y-axis, and 13.58 inches (345 mm) on the Z-axis, allowing for the processing of large and heavy workpieces up to 800 kg. The machine is equipped with a 5-axis AC servo motor system for precise control and smooth operation. Its advanced CNC control system provides a user-friendly interface, real-time machine messaging, and remote monitoring capabilities, enabling efficient and unmanned operation. The V650 incorporates a high-speed, reliable auto wire threading (AWT) system, which supports threading in the slot and under water, significantly reducing setup time and labor costs. Enhanced machining performance is achieved through features such as the DPM module, discharging stabilizer, new corner control strategy, manual radius size machining, and a micron finish circuit, all contributing to superior surface finish and reduced wire marks. The machine also includes intelligent power management and wire consumption compensation, ensuring energy efficiency and low operating costs. With a maximum wire diameter of 0.15–0.3 mm and a maximum taper angle of ±30°/100 mm, the V650 is suitable for a wide range of applications, from intricate mold making to precision tooling.
