The FARREL 404327 Vertical Boring Mill is a heavy-duty machine, originally manufactured in 1992 and retrofitted in 2016, designed for large-scale turning operations. It features a substantial 16-foot table diameter and a 17-foot swing, capable of handling a maximum table capacity of 125 tons. The machine is equipped with a modern CNC (FANUC OI-TD) control system. Power is supplied by a 100 hp motor, driving the table with a speed range of 0.5 to 35 RPM. The mill has a height under the tool of 72 inches and utilizes two heads.
