The FERMAT WFC10-M Horizontal Boring Mill is a robust machining solution, featuring a spindle diameter of 100 mm or 110 mm (3.94" or 4.33") and a choice of ISO-50, BT-50, or CAT-50 spindle taper. It offers a maximum spindle speed of 3000 rpm, with options for 4000 or 5000 rpm, and is driven by a spindle power ranging from approximately 19.5 to 45.5 kW, delivering maximum torque between roughly 823 to 2124 Nm depending on the configuration. The machine's travels include a spindle travel (W-axis) of 730 mm (28.7"), X-axis cross travel of 1250/2000 mm, Y-axis vertical headstock travel of 1250/1700/2000 mm, and Z-axis longitudinal table travel of 1250 - 1500 mm. Rapid feed rates are high, reaching 8000 - 30000 mm/min for X, Y, Z axes. The rotary table (B-axis) rapid feed ranges from 2 to 10 rpm. Table size options vary from 1000 x 1120 mm up to 1400 x 1800 mm, supporting a maximum load capacity of 5000 kg (about 11023 lbs). This model, suitable for serial production, can be enhanced with features like optical scales, an operator cabin, and optional automatic tool changer (ATC) or pallet changer systems (APC).
