This vertical machining center features a robust 43.3" x 20" table supporting workpieces up to 2,204 lbs, ideal for heavy-duty machining. It is equipped with a vertical spindle offering a CT-40 taper as standard with an optional CT-50 taper for increased rigidity and stability in demanding applications. The spindle delivers up to 6,000 RPM standard with an 8,000 RPM option, powered by a 10 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, upgradeable to 12 HP for enhanced performance under load. The machine utilizes a 24-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), expandable to 40 tools, with a fast tool change time of 2.5 seconds and chip-to-chip time of 3.5 seconds, optimizing productivity. A pallet changer is available optionally, supporting one or two pallets to facilitate continuous operation and reduce downtime. It operates on 3 axes (X, Y, Z) with the possibility to add a fourth axis for complex machining tasks.
