Technical Description

The FPT SPIRIT 200 is a high-performance CNC Horizontal Boring Mill designed for heavy-duty machining in sectors like power generation and shipbuilding. Key specifications include a substantial 7.09-inch spindle size and high travel capabilities: X-Horizontal Travel of the Column at 236.22 inches (or 6,000+ mm) and Y-Vertical Travel of the Head at 196.85 inches. The machine is equipped with a powerful 95.4 HP spindle motor, achieving speeds up to 3,000 RPM (with capacity up to 4,000 RPM) and a motor power ranging from 50 to 60 kW. It features a standard 4-axis configuration, typically controlled by a Heidenhain CNC system. The machine's travels offer flexibility, including Z-axis vertical travel options up to 10,000 mm and a W-axis boring travel between 800 and 1,400 mm. It supports boring diameters up to 260 mm and utilizes an SK 50 / DIN 69871 tool taper.
