The Galion 830 is a heavy-duty articulated motor grader designed for road construction and maintenance applications. This machine features multiple engine options ranging from 176 to 285 horsepower, depending on the configuration, with engine displacements between 7.01 and 12.5 liters to accommodate various operational demands. The grader is equipped with a closed-center hydraulic system delivering up to 3502.7 psi, enabling precise control of all grading functions. Its transmission offers up to six forward speeds reaching approximately 27.1 mph, with reverse capability up to 21.4 mph, providing efficient mobility across job sites. The moldboard assembly features a maximum cutting depth of 28.9 inches and lift capacity of 18.9 inches above ground, with blade tip articulation ranging from 40 degrees forward to 5 degrees backward. The standard 12 to 14-foot moldboard accommodates various grading operations with adjustable side shift capabilities.
