Technical Description
The Genie GTH-1056 is a heavy-duty telehandler forklift designed for demanding material handling tasks with a maximum lift capacity of 10,000 lbs (4,536 kg) and a maximum lift height of 56 ft 10 in (17.32 m). It offers a maximum forward reach of 42 ft (12.8 m), allowing loads to be maneuvered over obstacles efficiently. The lift capacity at maximum height is 4,000 lbs (1,814 kg), and at maximum reach, 3,000 lbs (1,361 kg). The unit is powered by a 121.1 hp turbocharged, Tier 4i emissions-compliant 4-cylinder diesel engine (model 1104C-44TA), supported by a 12-volt electrical system and a 1000 CCA battery for reliable starts in low temperatures.
The boom features rapid movement capabilities, with boom up/down times of 13.5 and 12 seconds respectively and extension/retraction times of 16 and 15 seconds. The hydraulic system includes a variable displacement pump with a flow capacity of approximately 15 gpm at 3200 psi auxiliary pressure, supporting precise boom and attachment functions. The forklift’s frame leveling capability tilts up to ±10° side to side, enhancing stability on uneven terrain.
Chassis dimensions include a ground clearance of 19.2 inches, an overall width of 8.5 ft, a length to fork face of 22.1 ft, a wheelbase of 10.7 ft, and an outside turning radius of 13.3 ft, contributing to excellent maneuverability. The GTH-1056 also features 4-wheel steering with selectable front, coordinated, and crab steering modes, full-time 4WD, and auxiliary hydraulics flow of 15 gpm for operational versatility. Fuel capacity is 35.1 gallons, and hydraulic system fluid capacity is 55.1 gallons, supporting extended work cycles.
