Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a robust table measuring 39.3" x 39.3", capable of supporting workpieces up to 2,420 lbs, suitable for heavy-duty machining. It operates with a vertical spindle utilizing an HSK 63 taper, providing high precision and rigidity for tooling. The spindle delivers a top speed of 15,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 24,000 RPM, powered by a 50 HP (30-minute rating) motor, with an optional 40 HP variant, enabling both moderate and high-speed applications.
The machine is equipped with a 5-axis system (X, Y, Z linear axes plus A and B rotary axes), enabling complex multi-dimensional machining. Axial travels include 39.3" (X), 45.27" (Y), and 35.24" (Z), all with maximum feed rates of 590 inches per minute and rapid traverse speed of 1,179 inches per minute, supporting efficient and precise positioning. Rotary axes offer 136° for A-axis and full 360° rotation for B-axis, enhancing flexibility for contouring and angular machining.
Tool management is facilitated by an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) with a capacity of 30 tools standard, expandable up to 92 tools, complimented by a standard pallet changer with 3 pallets for seamless workflow and reduced downtime. There is no U axis present. This combination supports high productivity and versatility for diverse manufacturing applications involving milling, drilling, and complex 5-axis machining tasks.
