The machine supports 5-axis operation (X, Y, Z linear axes with a 40° B-axis rotary axis) with no U-axis, enabling complex 5-sided machining. Axis travels are 31.4" (X), 23.62" (Y), and 19.69" (Z) with rapid traverse and max feed rates up to 2,358 inches per minute, facilitating fast, accurate movements. Tool management is optimized with a 15-station automatic tool changer (optionally expandable to 68 tools) delivering zero tool change chip time. An optional pallet changer supports up to 7 pallets, extendable up to 48, for improved automation and throughput. The construction and equipment allow high-speed, high-precision milling, drilling, and multi-axis contouring suited for aerospace, automotive, mold, and other precision industries.
