The GROB G700 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-precision, modular 5-axis CNC machine tailored for complex and flexible manufacturing tasks, predominantly used in automotive and aerospace industries. It features a horizontal spindle with an HSK-A100 taper, enabling optimal chip evacuation and enhanced tool longevity through better heat dissipation. The machine offers substantial travel capacities with 49.21" in X, 36.22" in Y, and 45.67" in Z axes, all capable of rapid traverse rates up to 2,362 IPM for efficient material removal and cycle times. The G700 supports tool change chip times of 4.8 seconds, improving overall productivity, with an optional pallet changer for automated workpiece handling. It operates with Siemens or Fanuc CNC controls, providing flexibility in system integration. The spindle speed ranges up to 18,000 RPM delivering power outputs between 29 kW and 40 kW, offering high torque suitable for machining aluminum alloys and other materials.
