The Haas EC-1600ZT is a compact three-axis horizontal machining center designed for efficient production of medium-sized components. It features a horizontal CT 50 spindle (with optional BT 50 compatibility) capable of 7,500 RPM with 30 HP continuous output, delivering robust cutting performance across various materials. The machine accommodates workpieces up to 10,000 lbs on its 64" × 36" rectangular worktable, making it suitable for diverse manufacturing applications. The X, Y, and Z axes provide 64", 50", and 40" travel distances respectively, with rapid traverse rates of 600 IPM and maximum cutting feedrates of 500 IPM, enabling quick cycle times and efficient stock removal. The integrated 30-position SMTC tool changer delivers rapid tool indexing with 6.3-second tool change and 4.2-second chip-to-chip times, minimizing non-cutting idle periods. A fourth axis option is available for enhanced versatility in complex part geometries.
