This CNC vertical machining center features a rigid worktable measuring 36" x 14" with a maximum workpiece capacity of 1,500 lbs, supporting heavy and large parts for precise machining. It accommodates a 3-axis configuration (X: 30", Y: 16", Z: 20") with rapid traverse speeds of 1,400 ipm and maximum feed rates of 833 ipm, providing efficient material removal and positioning accuracy. The machine is equipped with a CT40 spindle taper as standard, with an optional upgrade to BT40, capable of speeds up to 12,000 RPM (optional 15,000 RPM) and delivering 30 HP (30-minute rating), ideal for high-speed precision milling. Tool management is handled by a 25-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC), featuring a fast tool change time of 1.6 seconds and chip-to-chip time of 2.2 seconds, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime. The machine does not include a pallet changer or a 4th axis by default but can be optionally upgraded for enhanced flexibility. The construction supports optional rotary and indexed tables for complex workpiece positioning.
