A+Technical Description
This CNC vertical machining center features a robust worktable measuring 54" x 25" that supports workpieces up to 1,750 lbs. It operates on 3 axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 40", 26", and 25" respectively, each capable of a maximum feed rate of 833 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds up to 1,400 ipm. The spindle is oriented vertically with a standard CT 40 taper and an optional BT 40 taper, delivering a powerful 30 HP (30-minute rating) with top speeds of 12,000 RPM standard and an optional upgrade to 15,000 RPM for high-speed machining. The machine is equipped with a 25-position automatic tool changer (ATC) enabling rapid tool changes in 1.6 seconds with chip-to-chip times of 2.2 seconds, enhancing productivity for diverse machining operations. Optional support tables, including indexed and rotary types, as well as a pallet changer with two pallets, allow for flexible workholding and automation to increase throughput. The machine’s rigid construction and high spindle power enable it to handle heavy-duty milling tasks, suitable for large and complex parts. Optional 4-axis capability can be added for enhanced machining versatility. The table and spindle specifications facilitate precise, high-speed machining of metals and other materials, optimized by the fast feed rates and rapid rapid traverse capabilities for efficient material removal and reduced cycle times. This machining center is ideal for industries requiring robust, versatile, and high-precision machining capabilities, supporting complex part geometries and heavy workpieces.
