This vertical spindle machining center features a 52" × 18" work table capable of supporting workpieces up to 3,500 lbs, making it suitable for mid-sized production runs. The machine is equipped with a CT40 spindle taper as standard, with an optional BT40 configuration, spinning at a maximum of 8,100 RPM with 30 HP continuous rating. The carousel-style tool changer accommodates 20 tools standard or 40 with the optional upgrade, enabling rapid tool changes in approximately 4.2 seconds. Three primary axes (X, Y, Z) deliver 50", 20", and 25" of travel respectively, with maximum feed rates of 650 IPM and rapid traverse speeds reaching 1,000 IPM across all axes, ensuring efficient material removal and reduced cycle times. An optional 4th axis (A-axis) providing 105° of rotation is available for enhanced part programming flexibility. The Z-axis travel of 25" provides adequate clearance for most workpiece heights. This machine configuration balances precision with productivity, offering solid positioning accuracy suitable for general milling applications including die casting components, forming tools, and injection molding parts. The high rapid traverse rates minimize non-cutting time, while the configurable tooling capacity adapts to varying production requirements.
