HAAS VF-4SSAPC VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER

The HAAS VF-4SS APC Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance CNC machine featuring a CAT40 spindle taper with a 30 HP motor delivering up to 12,000 RPM for precision and speed. It offers substantial travel distances of 50" (X), 20" (Y), and 25" (Z), enabling machining of large and complex parts. The machine includes a 5th axis 5th axis rotary trunnion table with dimensions of 52" x 19.5", supporting heavy workpieces with increased flexibility. Rapid traverse rates reach 1400 inches per minute (IPM) to maximize productivity. The VF-4SS utilizes a side-mount tool changer with a 40-tool capacity, efficiently handling a wide variety of tools with fast tool change times. It is prepped for an automatic pallet changer, facilitating unmanned operation for extended production runs. Integrated features include a wireless Renishaw intuitive probing system for accurate part setup and inspection, as well as thru-spindle coolant delivering 300 PSI to optimize cutting performance and tool life. Chip management is handled by a chip auger system, ensuring cleanliness and continuous operation. Additional machine options include a worklight for improved visibility during machining.
