A+Technical Description
The HAFFNER MAC 440-30 is a precision 4-axis CNC aluminum profile machining center engineered for high-volume production of aluminum extrusions and structural profiles. This fully computerized vertical milling machine delivers exceptional versatility through its advanced motion control system, featuring interpolated 4-axis movement governed by high-precision servo motors. The machine accommodates variable workpiece lengths from 161.41" to 334.64" with a maximum machinable length capability, supported by an adjustable X-axis traverse path ranging from 181.10" to 368.11". The Y and Z-axis traverse paths measure 36.61" and 24.60" respectively, providing optimal access for complex cutting operations. Equipped with a powerful adjustable electro spindle motor capable of 0 to 24,000 RPM, the MAC 440-30 handles cutting operations including milling, drilling, notching, marking, flowdrill, and tapping. The nine tool stations with HSK-F63 spindle taper accommodate a maximum milling blade diameter of 5.90", while the automatic tool changer enables rapid tool transitions. The machine features 4-8 pneumatic clamps with two pneumatic reference stops for precise workpiece positioning and repeatability. Standard equipment includes thru-spindle coolant delivery, automatic clamp recognition, mist collection, and an integrated chip conveyor system. The machine's robust construction, measuring approximately 437" x 70.86" x 90.55", provides exceptional stability for achieving tight tolerances and superior surface finishes, making it ideal for custom profiles and specialized architectural applications.
