The Hanwha XD20/XD26 is a Swiss-style 5-axis turning center designed for precision machining of complex components with maximum turning diameters up to 1.020 inches. Equipped with a main spindle delivering 10,000 rpm (8,000 rpm optional) at 5 HP and a sub-spindle running at 8,000 rpm with 3 HP, the machine enables simultaneous 2-tool machining for enhanced productivity. The front tool carrier accommodates up to five turning and five rotary tools, while the back tool unit supports six turning and six rotary tools, providing exceptional versatility. With Fanuc 32i-B or Siemens 828D CNC control and optional 6-axis configuration, this machine delivers sophisticated multi-axis capabilities including standard secondary mill/drill functions both on-center and off-center, plus optional Y-axis and C-axis functionality.
