It features a single main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 12.200" (310 mm) and a maximum turning length of 13.780" (350 mm), accommodating workpieces up to 4.000" (102 mm) chuck diameter. The main spindle delivers 10 HP and operates at speeds up to 4,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 6,000 RPM for enhanced performance. The machine is equipped with a gang slide as the primary tool carrier, supporting up to 8 turning tools and 8 rotary tools, and offers an optional turret (8/12 station) for expanded tooling capacity. It allows for up to 12 turning tools and 12 rotary tools when the turret is installed, enabling versatile machining operations. Only one cutting tool can operate simultaneously. The Hembrug 100 includes a standard on-center secondary mill/drill function with 'C' axis capability, while off-center milling/drilling is available as an option. The machine operates on a 3-axis system, ensuring precise control for complex turning tasks. Designed for high productivity and accuracy, the Hembrug 100 is ideal for small to medium-sized workpieces requiring tight tolerances and efficient hard turning.
