Technical Description

The HURCO HBMX120I Horizontal Boring Mill is a robust machine with a 30 kW spindle power and a maximum speed of 2,500 RPM, offering a spindle torque of up to 1,500 Nm in the lower gear range. It features a working table surface of 1,440 mm x 1,600 mm, capable of handling a maximum load of 6,300 kg with uniform distribution. The machine provides extensive travel with an X-Axis of 3,000 mm, Y-Axis of 1,780 mm, Z-Axis of 1,650 mm, and W-Axis of 500 mm. Rapid traverse rates for the X, Y, and Z axes are 10 m/min, while the W-Axis is 4 m/min. The tool changer accommodates 60 or 90 stations and uses an SK50 spindle taper (DIN 69871 A). It supports tools up to 120 mm in diameter, 400 mm in length, and 25 kg in weight. The total machine weight is 26,000 kg and it requires a floor space of 6,729 mm x 6,711 mm x 3,765 mm (doors open, including control and chip conveyor). The machine also includes a standard scraper type chip conveyor and a 500-liter coolant tank capacity.
