The Huron K2X8Five Vertical Machining Center is a robust 5-axis CNC machine designed for high-precision machining with a large working envelope. The machine's work table measures 35.4" x 27.6", supporting a maximum load of 1,100 lbs, and offers travel of 29.5" (X-axis), 27.6" (Y-axis), and 25.6" (Z-axis), while the spindle nose-to-table clearance ranges from 5.9" to 31.5". Equipped with a CAT 40 spindle taper, it delivers a high spindle speed of 20,000 RPM powered by a 25 HP motor, enabling high-speed, high-precision machining applications. Rapid traverse and cutting feed rates are both up to 1,417 IPM for efficient material removal and cycle time reduction. The machine incorporates a 30-station automatic tool changer with a maximum tool weight of 15 lbs and a tool change time of only 2.5 seconds, enhancing productivity.
