Technical Description

The HWACHEON A600 is a high-productivity horizontal machining center designed for precise and stable machining of medium-sized workpieces up to 1,320 lbs. It features a compact 19.7" x 19.7" table suitable for flexible manufacturing and factory automation integration. Its spindle is a motor-integrated horizontal type with an HSK-A63 taper, reaching up to 16,000 RPM and delivering 29 HP (30-minute rating), optimized for diverse cutting operations. The machine is equipped with a 40-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), supporting efficient tool management for complex machining tasks. The A600 operates on four axes: X, Y, Z, and a full 360° B-axis rotation, enabling complex angular machining. Axis travel distances are 23.6" on X and Y, 31.8" on Z, with a rapid traverse speed of 2,358 inches per minute on all linear axes, ensuring high-speed positioning. The machine’s structure incorporates a highly rigid box-in-box design and roller linear guides with automated lubrication for smooth heavy-workpiece handling and backlash reduction, enhancing machining precision and reliability. This machining center integrates advanced feed drives and a large-capacity oil-pressure brake system on the B-axis for stable fixed-angle roughing and boring.
