HWACHEON H8 HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The Hwacheon H8 is a high-precision horizontal machining center designed for demanding production environments requiring both power and accuracy. This machine features a robust box-way guided feed system on all axes with twin-drive technology on the X and Y axes, minimizing vibration and ensuring precise machining performance. The H8 accommodates an 800mm x 800mm pallet (31.5" x 31.5") with a maximum table load capacity of 2,200 kg, making it suitable for heavy-duty workpiece processing. Equipped with a high-torque gear spindle delivering 1,654 Nm at 8,000 RPM with 35 kW power output, the H8 excels at stable roughing operations while maintaining precision during finishing cycles. An optional motor spindle reaches 12,000 RPM, providing versatility for varied machining applications. The machine offers axis travel of 1,400mm (X), 1,150mm (Y), and 1,250mm (Z), with rapid traverse speeds up to 48 m/min on the X and Y axes. The integrated tool changer manages 40 BBT-50 taper tools, reducing non-cutting time and enhancing productivity through servo-operated automation. The thermo-symmetric bed design and FEM-optimized rigid frame structure maintain geometric precision during extended operations. Air-charged box guideways provide ultra-low break-loose torque and consistent movement accuracy. Combined with Hwacheon's proprietary software and oil-jet cooling system for the spindle, the H8 delivers reliable, high-performance cutting capabilities across general parts and difficult-to-cut materials.
