The HWACHEON M4-5AX is a high-precision 5-axis vertical machining center designed for complex mold, die, and part machining that demands high rigidity and accuracy. It features substantial axis travels of 37.4 inches (X), 39.4 inches (Y), and 25.6 inches (Z), supported by a robust Meehanite machine bed weighing over 61,700 lbs, which ensures exceptional stability during heavy cutting operations. The machine incorporates advanced twin-drive technology on the Y-axis and high-performance flat guideways on the Z-axis to further enhance stiffness and precision. It is equipped with a high-torque spindle reaching speeds up to 12,000 RPM using a BT50 taper, supported by a 30-tool automatic tool changer (expandable to 60 tools) for versatile machining capabilities. The rotary table, measuring Ø800 x 630 mm, offers high-precision positioning controlled to 0.0001°, with rapid rotational speeds up to 30 RPM on the C-axis and 20 RPM on the A-axis, and a maximum load capacity of 1,200 kg. Control is provided by the FANUC Series 31i Model B5 CNC system, supporting simultaneous 5-axis machining with advanced interpolation algorithms that optimize speed, precision, and surface finish quality.
