Hwacheon SIRIUS UX VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER

This vertical machining center features a rigid 64.96" x 29.52" table capable of supporting heavy workpieces up to 5,500 lbs, suitable for large-scale or heavy-duty machining. The machine is equipped with a BT-50 spindle taper, with an optional BBT-50 taper, delivering a top speed of 12,000 RPM standard and optionally up to 15,000 RPM. It operates with a high-power 33 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, enabling efficient material removal and high cutting performance. The tool handling system is an automatic tool changer (ATC) with standard capacity for 40 tools, upgradeable to 60 tools, allowing a tool change cycle time of 2.8 seconds to maximize productivity. An optional pallet changer system with two pallets is available to streamline workpiece loading and unloading, reducing downtime. The machine supports three axes of movement (X, Y, Z) with travels of 59", 29.5", and 25.59" respectively, and rapid traverse rates of 787 IPM on all axes for fast positioning. A fourth axis option is available for additional versatility but no U axis is included. The table and axis configuration accommodate precise, high-feed machining with robust mechanical components designed for heavy workpiece handling and high-speed spindle operation in vertical machining processes. This setup is optimized for demanding CNC milling applications requiring large capacity, high torque, and fast, accurate machining cycles.
