The HYD-MECH S20A Series III Horizontal Band Saw is engineered for precision cutting with a robust capacity of 13" height and 18" width at 90 degrees, accommodating various angles with reduced widths of 10.9" at 45 degrees and 7.3" at 60 degrees. It effectively handles round materials up to 13" at 90 degrees and 8" at 60 degrees. The saw features a 1" x 14'10" blade, operating at variable speeds from 75 to 350 SFPM, ensuring versatility for different materials. Its automatic feed system allows for a 27" single stroke and multi-indexing, enhancing productivity. The 17.75" blade wheel diameter supports efficient cutting, while the 5,000 lbs table capacity provides stability for heavy workloads. The machine is equipped with hydraulic clamping and blade tension systems for optimal performance, and a 5 HP VFD blade drive motor ensures reliable operation. The integrated PLC control system can store up to 100 job settings, streamlining the setup process. Additionally, the saw includes an angle scale with a digital readout (DRO) for precise angle adjustments and a 12-gallon coolant tank to maintain blade performance.
