Technical Description
The Hyundai WIA SE2200LSY is a slant-bed CNC turning center with a Y-axis, a milling turret and a sub-spindle, built for complete machining of shafts, hubs and similar parts in one setup. The one-piece bed is inclined at 30 degrees and all axes run on roller LM guideways with double-anchored ball screws. The main spindle takes an 8-inch chuck, has an A2-6 nose, a 75 mm (2.95 in) bore and 65 mm (2.6 in) bar capacity, and runs to 4,500 rpm on a 15/11 kW (20/15 hp) belt-driven motor with 167 N-m maximum torque. The sub-spindle takes a 5-inch chuck, passes 32 mm bar and runs to 6,000 rpm on a 7.5 kW motor; main and sub spindles can be synchronized. Both spindles have 0.001-degree C-axis indexing. The wedge-type Y-axis BMT45P turret has 12 stations (24 optional), indexes in 0.11 s per step and drives live tools to 6,000 rpm with a 2.8/1.9 kW motor and ER20 collets. Maximum turning diameter is 300 mm (11.8 in) and maximum turning length is 510 mm (20.1 in), with a 600 mm swing over the bed. Travels are X 210 mm, Y 110 mm (plus or minus 55 mm), Z 560 mm and sub-spindle ZB 560 mm; rapid rates are 30/10/36 m/min on X/Y/Z. The standard control is a FANUC 0i Plus. The machine occupies 2,960 x 1,730 mm, stands 1,920 mm high, weighs 4,200 kg and needs a 30 kVA supply.
