This vertical machining center features a large worktable sized at 102.36" x 25.59", with an optional extended width of 33.46", designed to support heavy and long workpieces. Optional support for index and rotary tables enhances its versatility. The spindle is vertically oriented with a standard #40 taper, upgradeable to #50 taper, delivering up to 4,000 RPM standard speed, with an optional increase to 6,000 RPM. Powered by a 30 HP motor with a 36 HP option, it provides robust cutting performance suited for demanding machining tasks. Tooling is managed via an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 24 tools, expandable to 40 tools, enabling efficient tool management with a 4-second tool change time and 7 seconds chip-to-chip time. Optional pallet changers with up to two pallets are available, increasing production flexibility. The machine operates primarily on 3 axes with a 4-axis option, featuring linear travels of 86.61" (X), 23.62" (Y) with an optional 31.5", and 23.62" (Z) with the same optional extension. All axes support rapid traverse speeds up to 1,180 inches per minute, conducive to high-speed machining cycles. A full 360-degree rotation on the B axis offers enhanced contouring and complex part machining capabilities. This configuration balances high rigidity, precision, and productivity for diverse applications, including heavy machining and multi-tool operations in complex part manufacturing.
