A+Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a large table measuring 181.1" long by 25.59" wide, with an optional width extension to 33.46", supporting versatile large workpieces. The worktable can optionally support an index table or rotary table to enhance multi-axis machining capabilities. The vertical spindle is available in #40 taper as standard, with an option for #50 taper, delivering spindle speeds up to 4,000 RPM standard and 6,000 RPM optionally, powered by a 30 HP motor (36 HP option) suitable for heavy-duty cutting. Tool handling is managed via an automatic tool changer (ATC) with 24 tools in the standard setup and an upgrade option to 40 tools, featuring rapid tool change times of 4 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 7 seconds. A pallet changer is optionally available with two pallets to minimize downtime. The machine operates with 3 axes standard, with an optional fourth axis, providing travels of 157.48" on X, 23.62" (up to 31.5" optionally) on Y, and 23.62" (up to 31.5" optionally) on Z, all capable of rapid traverse speeds of 1,180 inches per minute. A full 360° B-axis rotation supports complex angular machining. This configuration supports high-precision, large-scale machining tasks across various industrial sectors requiring flexibility, productivity, and efficiency in vertical milling operations.
