Technical Description

This vertical machining center features a large worktable measuring 137.8 inches in length by 20.47 inches in width, designed optionally to support an index or rotary table and accommodate heavy loads. The vertical spindle offers a standard #40 taper with an optional #50 taper, achieving up to 4,000 RPM standard and 6,000 RPM optionally, powered by a 20 HP motor rated for 30 minutes and up to a 30 HP motor optionally for higher performance. Tool handling is managed via an automatic tool changer (ATC) supporting 24 tools as standard, with an optional upgrade to 40 tools, enabling a rapid tool change time of 4 seconds and a chip-to-chip time of 7 seconds. Dual pallet changer capability with two pallets is available optionally, facilitating efficient workpiece swaps. The machine operates with three axes as standard, with a fourth axis option, offering X-axis travel of 118.11 inches, Y-axis travel of 19.69 inches, and Z-axis travel of 19.69 inches, extendable to 23.62 inches if upgraded, all with a maximum rapid traverse rate of 1,180 inches per minute. A full 360° B-axis rotation is included for versatile machining. This configuration combines high power, precision, and flexibility, suitable for large and complex machining tasks, enhanced by optional rotary and indexing supports and multiple tooling capacities to optimize productivity and machining efficiency.
