Technical Description
The JCB JS130L is a robust 13-tonne tracked excavator engineered for versatility and productivity across a wide range of construction and excavation tasks. It features a conventional tailswing design and is powered by a turbocharged Isuzu A4BGIT diesel engine, delivering 114 horsepower (85 kW) at 2,200 rpm, with Tier II emissions compliance. The hydraulic system is equipped with a variable displacement axial piston pump, providing a flow capacity of 64 gallons per minute (242 L/min) and a relief valve pressure of 4,610 psi, ensuring responsive and powerful operation. The excavator offers a maximum bucket capacity of 1.1 cubic yards (0.84 m³), with a reference bucket capacity of 0.8 cubic yards, and can be fitted with a range of boom and stick configurations to suit specific job requirements. With a maximum cutting height of up to 30.9 feet (9.4 m), a maximum digging depth of 19.9 feet (6.1 m), and a maximum reach along the ground of 28.5 feet (8.7 m), the JS130L excels in both deep digging and high loading applications. The undercarriage features a 20-inch (508 mm) shoe width, a track gauge of 6.5 feet (1.98 m), and a ground pressure of 7.9 psi, providing excellent stability and traction. The machine has a maximum travel speed of 3.3 mph (5.3 km/h) and a drawbar pull of 29,225 lbs (132.5 kN), making it highly maneuverable and capable on challenging terrain. The cab is designed for operator comfort and visibility, with a height to the top of the cab of 8.9 feet (2.7 m) and a tail swing radius of 6.8 feet (2.1 m). The JS130L is equipped with a 24-volt electrical system, a 40-amp alternator, and a fuel capacity of 63.5 gallons (240 L), supporting extended operation. The hydraulic system fluid capacity is 32.8 gallons (124 L), and the cooling system holds 4.3 gallons (16.3 L). The excavator's operating weight is 30,645 lbs (13,900 kg), and it is built to withstand demanding conditions, making it a reliable choice for heavy-duty excavation work.
