Technical Description
The JCB JS130LC is a robust 13-tonne hydraulic tracked excavator ideal for medium-duty construction and excavation tasks. It features an Isuzu A4BGIT turbocharged diesel engine with a displacement of 264 cubic inches, delivering approximately 63 kW (84-94 hp) of power at 2100 rpm. The machine's hydraulic system is equipped with two variable displacement axial piston pumps delivering high flow rates for efficient cycle times.
The excavator offers three boom/stick configurations, each with a shipping height of 9.5 ft and lengths ranging from 25 to 25.2 ft, enhancing versatility for various jobsite requirements. It has a standard bucket capacity of 0.6 cubic yards, with bucket tearout forces rated up to 92 kN, providing excellent digging performance. Dimensions include a top cab height of about 9.1 ft, a width of 8.2 ft to the outside of tracks, and a compact tail swing radius of 6.8 ft, allowing operation in confined spaces.
The undercarriage features 44 shoes per side, 7 track rollers, and a track gauge of 6.5 ft. Ground pressure is low at approximately 7.9 psi, and drawbar pull reaches 29,225 lbs, supporting strong traction and stability. The alternator supplies 40 amps, operating at 24 volts, while fluid capacities include 4.3 gallons for cooling, 3.5 gallons for engine oil, 32.8 gallons for hydraulic fluid, and 0.6 gallons for swing drive fluid.
The JS130LC combines power, maneuverability, and durability, supported by a reliable hydraulic system and ergonomic design, making it a versatile choice for excavation, grading, and general construction applications. It also supports quick attachment exchange and various auxiliary hydraulic options for enhanced functionality.
