Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a robust 48" x 19.7" table capable of supporting up to 3,300 lbs, designed for heavy-duty workpieces. It is equipped with a #40 vertical spindle delivering 20 HP (30-minute rating) and a maximum spindle speed of 10,000 RPM, enabling precise and powerful machining operations. The machine incorporates an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 32 tools, expandable optionally to 120 tools, facilitating efficient tool management and reduced cycle times. A dual-pallet changer is available as an option, enhancing productivity by allowing continuous machining and setup simultaneously. The machine operates with 6 axes of movement, which can be optionally increased to 8, providing advanced multi-axis machining capabilities. Axes travel includes 45" on X, 21" on Y, and 25" on Z, each with a maximum feed rate of 315 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds up to 1,181 inches per minute. The rotary B-axis rotation offers full 360° movement, expanding the range of complex geometries that can be machined. This configuration combines high rigidity, substantial work envelope, and versatile tooling, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications requiring precision and heavy load capacity. Optional accessories include pallet changers to optimize workflow and increase uptime during production runs.
