The KAFO CVM-9A Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance CNC machine designed for precision milling operations. It features a robust construction with a roller-type linear guide way system on all axes, ensuring smooth movement and enhanced rigidity for accurate machining. The machine offers travel distances of 35.43 inches (900 mm) on the X-axis, 23.62 inches (600 mm) on the Y-axis, and 23.62 inches (600 mm) on the Z-axis, providing ample workspace for a wide range of part sizes. The table measures 39.37 inches (1000 mm) in length and 23.62 inches (600 mm) in width, capable of supporting workpieces up to 650 kg. Equipped with a BT40 or CAT40 spindle taper, the CVM-9A delivers high-speed and high-torque performance, suitable for demanding applications such as mold making, die casting, and general machining. The spindle can reach speeds up to 10,000 rpm, enabling efficient material removal and fine surface finishes. The machine is powered by a 15 kW spindle motor and a total installed power of 20 kW, operating on a 400 V supply. It includes a 40-tool automatic tool changer with a rapid exchange time of 3.8 seconds, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity. Advanced features such as rigid tapping, coolant through spindle, micro-lubrication, and a chip conveyor enhance operational efficiency and part quality. The CVM-9A is controlled by a Fanuc Oi MD CNC system, offering user-friendly programming and reliable operation. Its compact footprint and heavy-duty design make it ideal for both small workshops and large-scale manufacturing environments.
