This CNC vertical machining center features a large table with dimensions 78.74" (L) x 49.21" (W), optionally extendable to 59.05" width, supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 8,800 lbs. Its spindle is vertically oriented with an ISO 50 taper, facilitating heavy-duty machining with a standard speed of up to 3,200 RPM and an optional high-speed capability of 5,200 RPM. The spindle is powered by a 25 HP motor with an option for a 35 HP motor to enhance performance during intensive operations. The machine supports a 30-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), expandable to 60 tools, enabling efficient tool management with a tool change time of 6 seconds and zero chip-to-chip time. The system offers 3-axis control as standard, with an optional 4-axis configuration available. Axis travels are substantial: X-axis at 87.8", Y-axis at 55" standard (78.7" optional), and Z-axis at 27.55", all capable of max feed rates of 196 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds of 472 inches per minute, providing high productivity and precision. The spindle taper conforms to ISO 50 standards (DIN 2080), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of heavy-duty tooling such as face mill arbors, drill chucks, and boring bars.
