The KENT CNC KLR-300 is a 2-axis horizontal machining center designed for precision turning applications, featuring a 25 HP main spindle motor capable of speeds up to 3,500 RPM. It supports a maximum turning diameter of 19.7 inches and a turning length up to 27.6 inches, with a 10-inch main spindle chuck and a bar capacity of 2.95 inches. The machine’s bed is slanted at 30° to enhance chip evacuation and rigidity, contributing to improved stability and accuracy during heavy-duty turning operations. Its X-axis and Z-axis travel measures 11.8 inches and 29.5 inches, respectively, with rapid traverse rates reaching 944 inches per minute on all axes, enabling efficient positioning and reduced cycle times.
