The machine is equipped with a single vertical spindle utilizing an R-8 taper, with an NMTB-30 taper available as an option. The spindle delivers a maximum speed of 4,200 RPM and is powered by a 3.0 HP motor, providing reliable performance for a variety of materials. The KTM-3VS offers three-axis movement with 35" of longitudinal (X-axis) travel, 12" of cross (Y-axis) travel, and 15" of vertical (Z-axis) travel, enabling versatile machining capabilities. Tooling is manually operated, with a single tool carrier and no automatic pallet changer. The machine does not support index or rotary tables, focusing on straightforward, manual operation ideal for toolroom, prototype, and training environments.
