The KIRA KDL 22LB Horizontal Machining Center is a precision CNC machine designed for high-performance turning and milling operations. The spindle supports bar diameters up to 3 inches, runs at speeds up to 3,500 RPM, and is powered by a 19.5 HP motor. Equipped with a turret tool carrier, the machine accommodates up to 12 turning and 12 rotary tools, with rotary tools delivering 5 HP at speeds up to 5,000 RPM. It supports simultaneous use of one cutting tool, optimizing machining efficiency. The machine operates on a 2-axis system, with options for up to 3 axes including extended Z-axis travel up to 20.87 inches for increased machining depth. Axis travels include 7.87 inches on the X-axis and 16.14 inches (optionally 20.87 inches) on the Z-axis, both with rapid traverse rates of 945 inches per minute, ensuring fast and accurate positioning.
