Technical Description

This vertical machining center features a 39.4" (L) x 15.7" (W) table capable of supporting workpieces up to 770 lbs. The spindle has a #40 taper, operates vertically, and delivers 10 HP continuous power (30-minute rating) with an optional upgrade to 15 HP. Its top spindle speed is 8,000 RPM, upgradeable to 15,000 RPM for high-speed applications. The 3-axis machine offers travel ranges of 27.6" (X), 23.6" (Y), and 15.7" (Z), with the Z-axis optionally reduced to 12.6". It supports maximum feed and rapid traverse rates of 1,890 IPM and 2,205 IPM respectively on all axes. The tool handling system includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a 20-tool capacity, achieving tool change times of 1.2 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 2.8 seconds, facilitating efficient machining cycles.
