This vertical machining center features a large work table measuring 70.9 inches in length and 35.4 inches in width, supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 6,600 lbs. It offers a 3-axis configuration (X, Y, Z) with travels of 60.2", 43.1", and 28" respectively, and a rapid traverse speed of 945 inches per minute across all axes, facilitating efficient material handling and machining. The vertical spindle is NST#50 taper, delivering up to 12,000 RPM with a 35 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, providing robust cutting power for heavy-duty applications. Tooling is managed via an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 40 tools, expandable optionally to 80 tools. Tool change times are competitive, with a tool-to-tool change of 6.6 seconds and chip-to-chip time of 12 seconds, enhancing production uptime. The machine does not include a pallet changer or U-axis. Optional support for index and rotary tables is available for enhanced workpiece positioning and multi-face machining.
