MAC CISION MH-BAR HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The MAC CISION MH-BAR is a high-performance 5-axis horizontal machining center designed for precision milling and boring of large parts. It features substantial travels of 50" on the X-axis, 45.276" on the Y-axis, and 47.244" on the Z-axis, supporting versatile machining envelopes. Powered by a 29.5 hp motor, the spindle offers a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM with a No.50 7/24 taper, enabling efficient high-speed cutting. The machine incorporates a 60-tool capacity automatic tool changer, maximizing productivity and reducing downtime. The worktable measures 31.496" by 31.496", providing a stable platform for large components, complemented by a robust gantry-style column and T-type bed structure that ensure strong rigidity and consistent high precision retention during operation. Control is managed via a Fanuc 31i-MB CNC system, offering advanced multi-axis coordination and user-friendly interface for complex machining tasks. Additionally, features such as hydraulic systems, cooling, chip conveyor, lubrication, and worktable rotation enhance operational efficiency and maintain machining accuracy under heavy-duty conditions. The inclusion of a dedicated boring axis (W axis) with a 130 mm diameter spindle and rotary speed up to 3,000 RPM improves boring precision compared to traditional horizontal milling centers.
