Technical Description

This CNC vertical machining center features a robust table measuring 47.2 inches in length by 19.2 inches in width, capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,100 lbs. Optional support options include both an index table and a rotary table for enhanced versatility. It is equipped with a vertical spindle featuring a BT 40 taper, with an alternative CAT 40 taper option, operating up to 8,000 RPM standard, with an optional upgrade to 10,000 RPM. The spindle is powered by a 15 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, ensuring high-performance cutting capacity. The tooling system includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) with either Genoa or arm style carriers, supporting 16 tools standard, expandable to 24 tools optionally, and a pallet changer is available as an option for increased productivity. The machine operates on three axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 40 inches (X), 20 inches (Y), and 22 inches (Z). The feed rates reach up to 394 inches per minute with rapid traverse speeds doubling this at 787 inches per minute on all axes, enabling efficient and precise material removal. The system does not feature a U axis. Designed for demanding machining environments, it supports heavy workpieces and complex tooling configurations, suitable for precision milling applications requiring dynamic speed and torque control, versatile tooling options, and significant workpiece capacity. This combination of features facilitates advanced CNC milling operations for metalworking and other materials, accommodating a wide range of industrial manufacturing needs.
