The Matsuura MAM72-100H is a high-performance 5-axis horizontal machining center engineered for demanding production environments. Featuring a robust table size of 24.800" (L) x 24.800" (W), it supports workpieces up to 1,719 lbs, making it ideal for large, heavy-duty components. The machine utilizes a horizontal spindle with a CAT #40/BT taper, with an optional HSK-A63 taper for enhanced rigidity and tooling versatility. Spindle speeds reach up to 12,000 rpm (standard) or 10,000 rpm (optional), delivering high-speed precision for a wide range of materials. The tool carrier is BT 50, with a standard magazine capacity of 60 tools, expandable to 245 tools for increased flexibility. A standard pallet changer is included, supporting 2 pallets (expandable to 6) for continuous, unmanned operation. The MAM72-100H offers five-axis simultaneous machining with X, Y, and Z axis travels of 44.330", 36.220", and 37.790" respectively, and an A-axis rotation of 360° for complex part geometries. Rapid traverse rates are 2,362 ipm across all linear axes, ensuring swift tool movements and reduced cycle times.
