Technical Description

The MATSUURA PLUS-630 is a high-performance 4-axis horizontal machining center designed for precision and heavy-duty machining applications. It features a robust BT50 spindle with up to 12,000 RPM and a 700 N·m high-torque capacity, enabling efficient cutting of hard metals and a wide range of materials. The machine provides substantial travel capacities of 41 inches (1,050 mm) along the X-axis, 36 inches (920 mm) on the Y-axis, and 38 inches (990 mm) on the Z-axis, accommodating large workpieces up to Ø1,050 mm by 1,115 mm in height with a maximum load capacity of 1,200 kg. Equipped with a 60-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) and optional tool magazines supporting up to 245 tools, it ensures flexible, high-volume production. The horizontal pallet system uses 24.8" x 24.8" pallets with standard dual pallet changers and options for up to six pallets for increased automation. The Matsuura G-Tech control system with a 15-inch touchscreen enhances usability and programming efficiency. Its solid construction provides exceptional rigidity and stability, delivering consistent accuracy for demanding manufacturing environments.
