The machine accommodates workpieces up to 710mm in swing diameter with turning lengths ranging from 1 to 6 meters, supported by dual spindle chucks positioned on both sides of the spindle for handling long and heavy components. The main spindle operates at a maximum of 1,480 RPM with 28.6–39 HP depending on configuration, featuring a 153mm bore diameter capable of accepting 15-inch chucks and 4.6-inch bar stock. Travel specifications include 16.73 inches (425mm) on the X-axis and up to 238.18 inches (6,100mm) on the Z-axis, with rapid traverse rates of 394 ipm on both axes, enabling efficient cycle times. The machine supports eight turning tools with simultaneous single-tool cutting capability, controlled by Fagor or Fanuc CNC systems.
