The MICROCUT HBM-140RF is a robust Horizontal Boring Mill featuring a 5.51-inch (140 mm) quill diameter and a powerful 75.67 HP (37 kW / 45 kW) spindle motor, achieving speeds up to 4,000 RPM (or 2,500 RPM for variable 2-step speeds) with a #50 ISO taper. It boasts extensive travel capabilities, including 157.48 inches (3200 mm) of vertical head travel (Y-axis) and 157.48 inches (8000 mm) of horizontal column travel (X-axis). The machine's large 157.48 x 157.48-inch table supports precision work, managed by either a Heidenhain or Fanuc 31i-MB CNC control system. Axial travel components include a 39.37-inch (700 mm) quill travel (W-axis) and 800 mm ram travel (Z-axis), resulting in a total axial travel of 1500 mm.
