The Milltronics TRM20 is a versatile three-axis vertical machining center designed for tool room, job shop, and tool & die applications. This rigid-head machine features 40" x 20" x 24" travels on its X, Y, and Z axes respectively, with a working table measuring 54" x 16" and capable of supporting 1,323 lbs. The machine is equipped with a CT40 spindle taper compatible with a 24-tool carousel-style automatic tool changer, enabling efficient tool management for varied production requirements. Operating at a maximum spindle speed of 8,000 RPM with 75 ft-lbs of torque, the TRM20 delivers 20 HP (15 kW) of spindle power, providing ample capability for general machining operations. All three axes feature rapid traverse rates of 500 IPM with maximum cutting feed rates of 300 IPM, complemented by positioning accuracy of ±0.0005" and repeatability of ±0.0002". The machine employs double-anchored ball screws and matched AC servo amplifiers on all axes for precise motion control.
