Technical Description

The Milltronics USA, Inc. TRM30HT Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance CNC milling machine designed for precision and versatility in demanding machining environments. Featuring a vertical spindle with a CT40 taper, the TRM30HT delivers robust power and accuracy for a wide range of milling applications. The machine is equipped with a 24-pocket automatic tool changer (ATC), enabling efficient tool management and reduced downtime during complex operations. The spindle operates at up to 8,000 RPM, providing high-speed capability for both roughing and finishing tasks. The table measures 73" x 24", offering ample work support for large or multiple workpieces, with a maximum table load capacity of 3,000 lbs. The TRM30HT has three linear axes (X, Y, Z) with travel distances of 59.84", 29.13", and 28" respectively, allowing for extensive part coverage and flexibility in setup. All axes feature rapid traverse rates of 500 ipm, ensuring fast positioning and improved cycle times. The machine’s rigid construction, utilizing Meehanite cast iron for the base, column, and saddle, provides excellent vibration dampening and stability for high-speed and aggressive milling. Hardened and ground box ways with Turcite on all axes maximize rigidity and maintain accuracy over time. The TRM30HT is powered by a 25 HP spindle motor, delivering strong torque for heavy-duty cutting. Standard features include rigid tapping, programmable coolant, and optional 4th axis rotary table support.
