The Milltronics USA, Inc. VK4II is a versatile 3-axis CNC vertical machining center designed for precision toolroom and production milling applications. Featuring a robust 54" x 12" table capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,500 lbs, the VK4II delivers reliable performance for a wide range of machining tasks. The machine is equipped with a vertical spindle utilizing an ISO No. 40 taper, providing compatibility with standard tooling and ensuring high rigidity and accuracy. The spindle operates at up to 4,000 RPM and is powered by a 7.5 HP (30-minute rating) motor, delivering a maximum torque of 204 ft-lbs for efficient metal removal. The VK4II offers travel distances of 33" in X, 14.25" in Y, and 5.8" in Z, enabling the machining of medium-sized parts with excellent reach and flexibility. All axes feature a maximum feed rate of 150 ipm and rapid traverse speeds of 300 ipm, optimizing cycle times and productivity. The machine utilizes the Milltronics 8200-B Series CNC control, supporting both conversational programming and G-code, and includes a 12" color LCD display with solid model graphics for intuitive operation. The VK4II’s unique MillSlideTM Z-axis design enhances rigidity and spindle-to-table clearance, while optional features such as a pallet changer (up to 2 pallets) further increase automation potential.
