A+Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a robust 11.8" x 15.7" table capable of supporting workpieces up to 440 lbs, optimizing stability and versatility for midsize jobs. It is equipped with a high-speed vertical spindle supporting HSK-E25 Big Plus taper as standard, with an optional HSK-E32 Big Plus taper, delivering top speeds of 50,000 RPM and 30,000 RPM respectively, powered by a 5.5 HP motor rated for 30-minute duty cycles. The ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) accommodates 12 tools, enabling efficient multitool operations with minimal downtime. The machine operates on three axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 7.9" in X and Z axes and 11.8" in Y axis, each axis capable of rapid traverse rates up to 1,575 ipm and equivalent max feed rates for precision and speed. The use of BIG-PLUS tool holder technology ensures simultaneous contact on the taper and flange face, increasing rigidity, accuracy, and repeatability especially at high spindle speeds. The spindle’s design supports coolant through spindle features and maximizes tool holding stability with minimized runout, enhancing machining quality. This configuration is ideal for demanding milling, drilling, and finishing tasks requiring high precision, high-speed cutting, and rapid tool changes within a compact working envelope. Its combination of high RPM capability, powerful spindle horse power, and advanced tooling support makes it suitable for complex machining of molds, dies, and precision components in an industrial setting.
